I’m 28. My wife’s name is Kristin and my daugter’s names are Jaimes Elizabeth and Sevyn Grace. Jaimes, our biological daughter, was born in April of 2004 and Gacie came home forever at one year old in March of 2008. We were foster parents for about a year before adopting Gracie. We loved it and plan to foster again some day.
Kristin and I are on the leadership team for FAM - the Foster care & Adoption Ministry at The Village Church in Highland Village. FAM’s mission is to provide resources and community for people connected to foster care and adoption.
I work as a web designer for EMC in Dallas, TX. My family and I live in Flower Mound.

A little bit about me … I am 36 years old and live in Texas. I married my high school sweetheart, Amy, and we have been married for 14 years. We have four children – Miles (8), Grant (6), Kate (4) and Carter (4) – each of whom were adopted.
Amy and I lead a ministry at Irving Bible Church (Irving, Texas) called Tapestry. It is a ministry for adoptive and foster families and we truly enjoy serving and being a part of this community of families.
By day, I am an attorney for a private oil and gas company, working mainly on international projects – so I travel more than I would like. Amy is a former elementary school teacher and now has a more than full–time job keeping up with our kids and keeping the Monroe household functioning well. But one of our greatest passions is sharing with others the blessings we have experienced first–hand through the miracle of adoption.
Amy and I recently sat down and wrote a brief account of our personal adoption journey.

My wife and I live in North Carolina and have been married for 5 years. We have three adopted children and one biological child (with hopes of many more!) It is an incredible joy to reflect God’s heart of adoption as a family as well as reflecting His passion for all peoples as we purposefully adopted transracially.
Currently I serve as the Director of Ministry Development for The ABBA Fund, providing interest-free loans for adoption and helping churches establish adoption funds. We attend a great church and serve in care group ministry as well as the sanctity of life ministry (promoting prolife, foster care, and adoption). In my free time I enjoy reading, good coffee, photography, mountain biking, and, most of all, spending time with my wife and kids.

I am a husband and father. My wife is a stay at home mom and my son is almost 2 years old. I work for a The Bair Foundation, Christian child placement agency in Texas. My wife and I are also pursuing becoming foster parents and are interested in adopting out of the system should the opportunity present itself. At my job I am responsible for recruiting and training foster parents and I also work with CPS to place children in homes. I like coffee, enjoy reading, and long to be more creative. I run when someone is chasing me (usually my son) and I enjoy remodeling my home myself (though I almost always learn something the hard way with each new project).

I’m 26 and I work as the editor of a magazine for church leaders. More important, on Christmas Day 2008 my wife Annie and I returned to Dallas from Vietnam with our daughter Elise An. Our adoption process was long and often trying, but we couldn’t be more excited to share our story of hope with anyone who’ll listen.
Also, we’re involved with Tapestry at Irving Bible Church, where we’ve attended since late 2003.
