i assumed Juno was directed by the same guy that directed Knocked Up because it's about an unexpected pregnancy, and Michael Cera stars as Juno's boyfriend (he was one of the goofy kids from Superbad, a close relative of Knocked Up), but it turns out this is not the case

The end was tragic and beautiful all at the same time. It's not what I was expecting, which overall was the theme of the film ;)

I/we (my sweet husband & I) *REALLY* enjoyed this movie! Admittedly, I felt out-of-place entering a theater full of teenagers (even though I teach them all week!?) and laughing out loud right along with them. I was very disappointed that Juno & co. didn't come away with more awards c/o Oscar.

There is room for offense, if you're the kind of person who takes most of life way too seriously. I was extremely thankful for the positive light that was shed on adoption over abortion but kind of hoped for a more family-friendly ending. But I guess the ending was consistent with the entirety of the movie, wasn't it? =)
