Ugandan Adoption Update
Some of you may know that my wife and I are adopting a baby boy from Uganda. You can read more about on my personal blog here but I wanted to share the news here that we had our court ruling yesterday and now have legal guardianship of him! We are now waiting on his passport and visa to be issued so my wife can bring him home!
On a related note, being a stay-at-home dad these past weeks has given me a whole new appreciation for my wife and for all stay-at-home moms. I definitely have a much easier job. Right now, I am exhausted…but thankful for God’s strength, the occasional Disney movie, our neighborhood pool, and the many friends who have been watching the kids for me so I can do a little work, and the meals that have been delivered! I couldn’t do it without help!
