Thanks for sharing your story. What an encouragement to know that God cares so deeply for His daughters who long to be moms (and sons who long to be dads). I will forward this along to strengthen several families who need this kind of testimony to God's grace through a "frowning providence."

Wow Jason you wrote our story! It is freakishly similar, ok it's identical. I think this is a great message, hopefully it will get to the guys before it's too late. God led us to get some help before it was too late. Now we're doing great and have two adopted boys who have changed our lives for ever. Blessings, Scott

Thanks for sharing this. It's encouraging to read the stories of folks who are "on the other side."

I too have felt like Hannah's husband - and luckily My Life has been gracious and understanding to realize that I won't understand her desire and doesn't expect me to.

The story of Zachariah and Elizabeth was helpful for me over the holiday season as I thought about the years they spent hurting and praying that God would bless them with a child.

We've come to realize that a biological child may not be the answer for us but we're thankful that we're nearing the certification process for fostering a child (or two) and look forward to God blessing our family in ways we couldn't have imagined.

Thanks again for your post and your blog.
